Content Policy
Parel offers a wide range of AI-driven content generation. To protect our users and the broader community, generation in the following categories is prohibited. This policy applies to both the web platform and the mobile app.
Prohibited Categories
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): Any visual or textual content sexualizing individuals under 18. Detected violations result in immediate account termination and reports to relevant authorities.
- Non-consensual likeness of real persons: Using a real public or private individual's face, voice, or identity for generation without explicit consent — particularly in misleading, sexual, or defamatory contexts.
- Terrorist propaganda and incitement to violence: Content praising terrorist organizations, encouraging membership, or directing toward concrete violent acts.
- Malicious software and cyberattack tooling: Functional malware, ransomware, exploits, unauthorized access tools, or instructions for harmful attacks.
- Forged official documents: Fabricating passports, IDs, diplomas, bank statements, or manipulating identity-verification documents.
- Misleading medical advice: Diagnosing or prescribing treatments while implying medical authority; impersonating licensed clinicians; promoting anti-vaccine or unscientific therapies.
- Privacy violations: Collecting, exposing (doxxing), or aggregating personal data (addresses, phone numbers, ID numbers) without consent.
- Regulated financial advice: Providing investment, crypto, or stock advice without holding a licensed financial-advisor designation.
- Copyright infringement: Reproducing copyrighted characters, brand logos, or substantial portions of published works without authorization.
Age Requirement
Parel does not serve users under 13. The mobile app ships on the Apple App Store with a minimum 12+ age rating; some models may carry an additional 17+ restriction.
Reports & Takedowns
If you encounter content that violates these rules or want to request removal of content generated about you:
- Email: abuse@parel.cloud
- Use the subject prefix
[TAKEDOWN]. - Include the content URL or screenshot, plus identity verification (for personal-likeness reports).
- Critical reports (CSAM and similar) receive a response within 24 hours; routine reports within 5 business days.
Enforcement
Users who attempt to generate prohibited content may face the following actions:
- First warning: The job is cancelled, credits refunded, and a written warning issued.
- Repeat violations: 7-day to permanent account suspension; remaining balance may not be refunded.
- Critical violations (CSAM, terrorism): Immediate account termination, content removal, and reports to authorities where required.
Transparency
Content moderation uses automated filters (model-based classification) plus human review where appropriate. If your content was blocked in error, you may appeal: contact abuse@parel.cloud.
